ChironAI™ OM · scenario 1 of 7

A first visit, start to finish

Scenario A fictional case, shown on the synthetic demo clinic.

The scenario

A warehouse worker arrives with a lifting injury to the lower back. At the front desk, Chiron's eligibility check finds the employer's carrier and its Medical Provider Network, and the worker's predesignation is already on file. The records the adjuster uploaded through a secure link have been read overnight; Chiron flags that one urgent-care note records the right side while the claim form says left.

The physician starts the recording after the worker gives verbal consent. When the visit ends, Chiron has drafted the history with page citations, filled the lumbar exam table, suggested ICD-10 codes with the words each one rests on, and checked the plan against MTUS/ACOEM. The physician corrects the side, adopts two of three treatments and signs. Chiron produces the narrative Doctor's First Report with Form 5021 attached, starts the reporting clock, prepares the RFA for physical therapy, lets the physician book the follow-up in one step, drafts the E/M charge for the physician to confirm, and gives the worker a summary in Spanish.

On screen

Screens from the demo clinic, Chiron Demo Medical Group: the screens this scenario moves through, on the clinic’s own cases. Every patient and case in it is synthetic.

ChironAI OM Eligibility screen. Chiron’s eligibility briefing reports eight cases undetermined; counters show six claims accepted and two pending, and a table lists the two pending cases with claim type, MPN status, care pathway and Labor Code §3600 status.
At the front desk: the eligibility check for every new workers’ compensation claim.
A completed initial visit in ChironAI OM. A structured cervical exam table records range of motion, Spurling’s, reflexes and grip grades, and below it a calculated exam summary compares each motion with the AMA Guides normals and their table references.
The exam tables, filled once and summarized against the AMA Guides.
The Compliance screen listing reporting obligations, with a side panel open for a Form 5021 Doctor’s First Report: due date, attested status, the lifecycle from detected to verified, and each signed report version kept beside its amendments.
The Doctor’s First Report: the clock, the lifecycle and every signed version.
Charge details for a drafted 99204 new-patient visit. Chiron suggests 99204 with high confidence and offers 99203 and 99205 as alternatives, with buttons to keep or switch the code; the charge stays a draft until a person validates it.
The visit charge, drafted with a suggested code for a person to confirm.
