A QME evaluation

Scenario A fictional case, shown on the synthetic demo clinic.

The scenario

A panel QME receives four boxes of served records. Chiron organizes them, the evaluator marks two documents inadmissible, and Chiron builds a page-cited chronology from the rest. The cover letters yield six disputed issues. Chiron prepares a working draft of each report section, one at a time, for the evaluator to review, decide and edit; it recommends an apportionment opinion that the evaluator edits and adopts, runs the §4628 checklist and consistency QA, and presents the declaration for signature. The service list is ready, the §38 deadline chip turns green, and the ML charge is drafted with excess-page pricing.

Screens from the demo clinic, Chiron Demo Medical Group: the screens this scenario moves through, on the clinic’s own cases. Every patient and case in it is synthetic.

A QME report workspace for a synthetic orthopedic evaluation. The header reads records organized and 14 of 14 sections done, an AI-assisted notice says a licensed QME reviews and attests every section, and the stage history shows the report moving from drafting to completed.
The QME workspace: records organized, every section reviewed, the stage history kept.
The Introduction section of the QME report, marked approved and edited by the physician, written in the first person with the evaluation particulars below: specialty, examination date, panel number, statutory basis and the parties of record, each with its source.
A report section in the evaluator’s own voice, every particular sourced.
The report deadline panel with chips for the report due date and the §36 service date, the Labor Code §4628 compliance check and the consistency and citation check, and a Finalize and attest panel confirming the report is finalized and attested.
The §38 clock, the §4628 checks and the attestation, in one place.
Charge details for a drafted ML201 comprehensive medical-legal evaluation. Chiron agrees with the declared code and quotes the report lines that support it, notes the panel QME modifier, and leaves the charge as a draft for a person to validate.
