How to read each task

Automates

Chiron does the work end to end and tells you it is done.

Assists

Chiron prepares a draft, suggestion or check; a person reviews, edits and decides.

Each task also names what it returns: Revenue — money earned or recovered; Error avoided — a mistake, denial, penalty or missed deadline prevented; Time saved — work you no longer do by hand.

    Treatment plan and MTUS/ACOEM alignment

Chiron drafts a treatment plan from the clinical picture, merges it with what you have already written, and checks every ordered treatment against MTUS/ACOEM, returning a green, amber or red status with the guideline quoted and cited, so you see how a request lines up with MTUS/ACOEM before it goes out.

No re-request of a treatment still denied

Before an RFA goes out for a treatment whose denial still binds — an unappealed UR denial after the IMR window lapsed, or one IMR upheld — Chiron stops it and tells you which rule applies and until when under Labor Code §4610(k) and §4610.6(g), checking your clinic and any linked sister clinics.

    AI coding suggestions

Chiron suggests the E/M level from the note and orders, scored against the CMS 2021 medical decision-making grid and leveling on the higher of decision-making and time. For procedures it checks the recorded codes and proposes modifiers, units and ICD pointers, and drafts a code for a procedure recorded without one. For med-legal work it proposes the ML code and computes excess-page pricing. Each suggestion shows in a "Suggested by Chiron" panel with a confidence chip; the physician or biller confirms, and every override is recorded.

    Most frequent coding overrides

Chiron lists the most common pairs of its suggested code and the code actually billed instead, so you see which overrides drive coding agreement.

    Coding agreement by rule version

Chiron groups coding agreement by the version of its coding rules that made each suggestion, so a change can be dated to a change in Chiron.

    Requests that never arrived

Chiron flags any help request that never reached your practice's support inbox, so you know when someone believes they asked and nobody heard, and tracks each request from open to resolved.

    Error reports

Chiron records the errors your team actually runs into, grouped by how often they happen and with no patient data, so you can see what is broken and track it from new to fixed.

    Clinic groups

If you run several clinics, MindHYVE can link them into a group on request, grant a user a specific function across all of them within a role ceiling, and provide group-wide work queues. When a sister clinic requests a treatment that UR has already denied at a linked clinic, Chiron flags the request and explains why the denial still binds.

What Chiron deliberately does not do.

Chiron does a great deal, and some things it deliberately does not do.

  • Chiron does not sign.

Reports, determinations, opinions, prescriptions and declarations are signed by the physician, and several can only be signed by the physician.

  • Chiron does not decide medical questions.

Diagnoses, causation, apportionment, impairment, MMI, work restrictions and treatment are the physician's decisions. Chiron's recommendations enter a report only after the physician adopts, edits or disagrees.

  • Chiron does not submit bills on its own.

Charges are drafted; a person confirms the codes and submits.

  • Chiron does not post payments on its own.

EOR readings are proposals until a biller confirms them.

  • Chiron does not transmit prescriptions electronically.

Prescriptions are written, checked and signed in OM and printed. Drug interaction flags are Chiron-flagged, not a validated interaction check.

  • Chiron does not give legal advice or value a settlement.

Settlement-readiness summaries are neutral by design.

  • Chiron does not guess.

When the record does not support an answer, Chiron says so.

One principle runs through everything. Every clinical, diagnostic, causation, impairment, treatment and coding suggestion Chiron makes is a draft. The treating or evaluating physician reviews it, accepts, edits or rejects it, and signs. Chiron never signs, never files a medical opinion on its own, and never presents itself as a licensed clinician. Where this guide says Chiron "drafts", "suggests" or "recommends", the physician decides.
